FAQ’s

We know every property — and every project — is different. That’s why we’ve put together answers to the most common questions we hear from landowners.

From pricing and process to what to expect on your land, this page will give you clear, straightforward information before you get started.

  • Yes. We carry strong liability insurance & ensure safety measures for the unseen are taken. While rural land clearing usually doesn’t require specific licensing, we comply with all relevant local regulations and can recommend licensed specialists if a project requires permits or specialized treatment.

  • Absolutely. We’ll come out, assess the property, and provide a detailed, no-obligation quote at no charge. Read more about “Our Process” on our site, click here.

  • We’re local and familiar with Hill Country land, so we understand the terrain, vegetation, and weather here.

We place high value on honest communication, quality work, and treating clients like neighbors. Our team is experienced, fully insured, and committed to doing the job right.

  • We primarily work across the Hill Country, including areas around Junction, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, and nearby counties.

For larger or more remote projects, we’ll travel outside that core region — just note that further distance may add travel costs.

  • Most projects fall between $1,500 and $3,000 per acre, depending on brush density, terrain, and access. Light clearing runs on the lower end, while dense cedar, large trees, or rocky ground can push costs higher.

  • Every property is different. Factors like tree size, amount of brush, slope of the land, and whether stumps or rocks need to be removed all affect the time and equipment required — which is what drives price.

  • Not usually — we’re upfront with our pricing. Travel or mobilization fees only apply if your project is well outside our normal service area or if special equipment is required. You’ll always know about those ahead of time.

  • Our region is rocky, uneven, and covered in tough cedar — all of which wears heavily on equipment and takes more time to remove. Specialized machines and skilled operators are key to doing the job right and safely.

  • Yes — we provide discounts for military, veterans, and first responders. Larger jobs may also qualify for adjusted pricing.

  • We handle everything from small sections to large acreages. Even if you only want an entrance, fence line, or build site cleared, we can customize a quote for that specific area.
